Chewing test

Denna studie är avslutad och tar tyvärr inte emot flera anmälningar!
The volunteers will participate in one experiment (3 parts).

We will install a 3D jaw tracking device to your face. This jaw tracker requires a magnetic sensor to be glued to your lower teeth with a removable teeth glue. After gluing the magnet and installing the device, we will do several measurements (mouth opening and closing).

After that, we will take away the magnet from inside the mouth and glue it back outside the mouth (directly below your lower lip) with a special paste and do the same measurements again.

The third part is to remove the magnet and glue it back to your chin and do the same measurements.

The aim of this experiment is to see if changing the magnet position will affects the accuracy of our measurements or not. The glue paste that we will use outside the mouth is skin friendly and can be cleaned easily with alcohol.

# On successful participation, the participants will be awarded one cinema ticket.

Note: No pain is involved.

The experiment is expected to last for 30 minutes and will be conducted in the Karolinska Institutet - Department of Dental Medicine - Alfred Nobels Allé 8 - Plan 6 - 14152 Huddinge Huddinge
