Does your child have sleep problem?

Denna studie är avslutad och tar tyvärr inte emot flera anmälningar!
The study investigates how sleep affects daytime functioning and if mothers smell improves sleep in children (with and without autism).
To be included in the study, the child should be 5-11 years old and have a separate bedroom.
Children participating in the study will be followed for two weeks. During these weeks we will measure sleep and daytime function (teacher and parent ratings). In one week, child is going to sleep with her mother's smell (a t-shirt over the pillow), and during a week of control, the same things are measured without the mother's smell.
We come to the participants' homes and show the sleep equipment (EEG and aktigraphy, a clock-sized meter that measures movements). We will also show how to use it and let the child try the equipment.

As a compensation, participating families receive a sleep report on the child's sleep patterns, a toy and two movie tickets
