Bilateral differences during running

This study investigates bilateral differences during running and in the Achilles tendon of recreational runners.

The protocol consist of two days visiting the lab.

First day: a) you will perform muscle contractions with each foot against a force measuring plate, b) your Achilles tendon will be evaluated by ultrasonography.
Second day: you will run on a motorized treadmill at two speeds (10 and 15 km.h) while ground reaction force and lower leg motion will be recorded.
COMPENSATION: two cinema tickets and feedback on differences between legs during running.

You must NOT have a history of lower limb injury in the previous 12 months.
You MUST have a running training volume greater than 30km/week.
