How does biodiversity affect stress?

Denna studie är avslutad och tar tyvärr inte emot flera anmälningar!
In this study we are investigating how different aspects of nature, accross multiple sensory modalities, affect stress and stress recovery.

This experiment consists of two parts. In the first part you will be presented with images, odors, sounds, and various combinations of these. After each presentation you will have to rate how pleasant the stimulus was. In the second part you will be placed in a virtual park environment consisting of a 360 degree image that is viewed with a virtual reality headset. We will play you a sound file, and you will receive a small number of mild electric shocks. While you are in the virtual environment, we will measure your skin response and heart rate by attaching a few sensors to your fingers. Besides those two parts, you will have to answer a few general questions.

The overall experiment will take approximately 1 hour, and you will be compensated with 2 movie tickets.

In order to participate you need normal or contact corrected vision (no glasses), normal hearing and sense of smell, and you are not allowed to be pregnant.
